Next Issue's Theme: Goodbye 2025, Let's go 2026!

With 2025 done and dusted, lets take a look back at 2025 and what we're looking forward to for 2026. Tell us about how 2025 was for you, lessons learned, insights and tell us about what you're looking forward to in 2026—keep it A.A. / recovery related of course!

  • What helped your recovery
  • What'd you notice about recovery? Your fellow A.A.s? The community? Your homegroup? Your friends in A.A.?
  • What are you looking forward to having to do with recovery in 2026? What are you going to try and do differently? What are you going to keep the same?
  • What would you like to see in the Mynah Bird for 2026?
  • Remember to include your name, what island you're on and your sobriety date. You can also include additional information like your age and the part of the island you're from.

Also!

  • Send us photos of your homegroups! We'd love to see what you're sacred place of recovery and fellowship looks like and the variety of places we have across the islands (keeping anonymity of course).
  • And did you know that the Mynah Bird committee meetings are open to all A.A. members? If you'd like to sit in on our committee meetings and contribute toward the direction of the Mynah Bird and our Hawaii A.A. community, contact the Maynah Bird at mynahbird@area17aa.org and we'll get you plugged in.
